The exhibition is currently on view at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw until 28 June 2026. The project brings together the works of contemporary Ukrainian artists, in particular Crimean Tatar artists, reflecting on the experience of losing home, preserving memory and rethinking their identity after the start of the Russian occupation of Crimea in 2014.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The exhibition What We Talk About When We Talk About Crimea has been commissioned by the Ukrainian Institute and organised by the Past / Future / Art memory culture platform with the support of the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU), funded by aid from the governments of Canada, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The project partner is the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland.
